Linear-grid Ceiling System(Type:LG)

The suspension structure for the "APEZ" Lincar Grid System(integrated ceiling system) consists of metal ceiling panels resting on top of exposed bearer beams (runners) which are installed parallel to each other to form continuous runs. Producedon advanced manufacturing equipment, the high quality precision engineered panels are flat and dimensionally stable. The flange at the end of the ceiling panels rests on top of the bearer beamprofile. They are available with square edges and can be fitted with an optional gasket to reduce vibration noise and control air leakage. The ceiling panels are made of aluminium or steel,perforated or non-perforated, and available incolours according to RAL or to special order.

Components

The LG System comprise of three main elements;the suspension (including the distancing profile),the exposed bearer beam and the ceiling panels.

Installation

The suspension elements of threaded rod is fixed directly to the structural slab with anchored Z-bracket. The length to be adjusted according tothe suspension height elected. To permit fine alignment of postion along its length, the hangersare fixed to a rigid hanger bracket that slips inside the exposed bearer beam profile to form uninterrupted and parallel main runs. Panels can then be located and installed into place by restingt he flanges onto the beare beams to complete theinstallation.
